If HP Smart on the PC report the toners empty then restart HP Smart or the PC.
If the printer reports the toners empty then unplug from wall. If the power cable has a transformer then unplug from printer also. Press the power switch 2-3 times to discharge the circuitry then reconnect power and turn back on.
