Printer is demonstrably available online, but cannot print because ink service will not connect.

Performing a factory reset on an HP printer often causes it to lose connection to the cloud-based services, including the HP Ink Service. A few reasons for this:

Cloud Settings Are Reset: Factory resetting the printer can erase network and cloud settings, which means the printer might no longer be connected to your HP account or the necessary servers.

HP Instant Ink Registration: If you're using HP Instant Ink, the reset can unlink the printer from your Instant Ink account.

 

Reconnect to HP Account:

After a factory reset, you may need to reconnect the printer to your HP account. This can be done through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel by signing in with your HP account credentials.
