@Walid1960, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If you've cleaned the printer as indicated in the manual and the diagnostics show everything is fine, but you are still experiencing print quality issues where the top of the page is reproduced at the bottom, consider the following steps:

Check the Paper Type and Setting:

  • Ensure the paper type and size settings in the printer driver match the type and size of the paper loaded in the printer. Incorrect paper settings can cause issues with alignment and image registration.

Print Quality Settings:

  • Go to the printer's menu and check the print quality settings. Make sure "Edge Control" is set to "Normal" or "Maximum" depending on your preference.
  • If using a HP Color LaserJet, ensure "REt" is enabled to enhance print quality.

Image Registration Adjustments:

  • You can adjust tray settings under "Image Registration" to shift the horizontal and vertical alignment, ensuring the image is centered properly on the page.
  • Print a test registration page to see alignment guides and make necessary adjustments.

Manual Sensor Test:

  • Perform a manual sensor test if available in your printer’s diagnostic menu to ensure sensors are functioning correctly.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer model. Updating the firmware can resolve many print quality issues and improve overall printer performance.

Steps to Adjust Print Quality Settings on HP Printers:

Access Print Quality Menu:

  • From the printer’s control panel, navigate to "Settings" > "Print Quality".

Adjust Image Registration:

  • Select "Image Registration" and print a test page.
  • Make adjustments to "Horizontal Shift" and "Vertical Shift" for both front and back sides of the paper.

Enable REt:

  • Ensure "REt" (Resolution Enhancement technology) is enabled to produce smoother angles and curves.

Run Diagnostic Tests:

  • From the printer’s control panel, select "Support Tools" > "Troubleshooting" > "Diagnostic Tests" and run a "Print/Stop Test" to isolate any image formation defects.

Following these steps should help you address the print quality issue where the top of the page is reproduced at the bottom.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
