I have a brand new HP Envy 6055e printer that went through a firmware update AND I just installed new GENUINE HP cartridges on AND aligned as suggested. When printing from the internet website "ON LINE LABLES" via Adobe Acrobat I am getting solid all black pages. This has happend many times but not always. Wasting my ink and lables is not acceptable. Please remedy this as I see this is a very common problem with many many users. Obviously a HP software issue.

Hi @bzak55,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with your HP Envy 6055e printer. Solid black pages can indeed be frustrating, especially when it leads to wasted ink and labels. Let's try to troubleshoot the issue step by step.

  • Check Printer Settings: Make sure your printer settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, incorrect settings can cause unexpected printing issues. Verify that the printer settings match the requirements for printing labels.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with certain software or files.
  • Check Adobe Acrobat Settings: Review the printing settings within Adobe Acrobat. Ensure that the correct printer is selected and that the print settings are appropriate for the labels you're trying to print.
  • Test with Different Software: Try printing the labels from a different program or application to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to Adobe Acrobat or if it's a more general printer issue.
  • Print Test Pages: Print test pages from your printer to see if the issue occurs outside of Adobe Acrobat. If the test pages also come out solid black, then it's likely a printer hardware or firmware issue.

By going through these steps, you can hopefully identify the cause of the problem and find a solution to resolve it.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
