Hi @PersioAce,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're having trouble finding drivers for your HP Laptop 15-da2xxx on Windows 11, especially when HP's support site doesn't list them, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. Check for Windows Updates
- Update Windows:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click Check for updates. Sometimes, Windows Update will find and install drivers automatically.
2. Use Device Manager to Find Drivers
Open Device Manager:
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
Update Drivers:
- Right-click on the device with a missing driver or an exclamation mark (yellow triangle) and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software. Windows will search for a compatible driver.
Roll Back Drivers:
- If a recent update caused the issue, you can roll back to the previous driver version. Right-click on the device in Device Manager, select Properties, go to the Driver tab, and click Roll Back Driver (if available).
3. Download Drivers from Alternative Sources
HP Support Assistant:
- Install HP Support Assistant from HP's official website. It can sometimes find and install the correct drivers for your system.
Windows 10 Drivers:
- If Windows 11 drivers aren’t available, you may try Windows 10 drivers. Often, Windows 10 drivers are compatible with Windows 11.
- Download the Windows 10 drivers from HP’s website for your specific model and install them. To do this, visit HP's support site, enter your laptop’s model number, and download the available drivers. Even if they are for Windows 10, they may work for Windows 11.
Generic Drivers:
- For some devices, you can use generic drivers from the hardware manufacturer’s website (e.g., Intel, AMD) or from the chipset manufacturer.
4. Try Compatibility Mode
Install Drivers in Compatibility Mode:
- If you’ve downloaded a driver meant for Windows 10, right-click the driver installation file, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, check Run this program in compatibility mode for, and select Windows 10.
Run as Administrator:
- Sometimes, running the installer as an administrator helps. Right-click the installer and select Run as administrator.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi @PersioAce
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your printer cartridges. We always recommend using genuine HP ink cartridges.
I see that you have an issue using non-HP ink cartridges on your printer.
Please refer to the below links for more information related to your issue.

If you are using generic or Non HP ink cartridges and the above links do not help. You will have to contact the generic ink cartridge manufacturer to assist you further with it or you will have to use genuine HP ink cartridges to resume printing.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!

Thank you for your response, Rachel.
However, the issue I'm facing is not with the ink itself but rather with the proprietary HP printer and software that restrict my ability to use non-HP ink cartridges. I purchased the printer directly from HP, and I believe it's HP's responsibility to provide a solution that allows me the freedom to choose where I spend my money, including the ink I decide to use.
I would appreciate if HP can assist me in finding a solution that doesn't lock me into using only HP products and allows me the flexibility to use any ink I prefer. This issue is with HP's systems, not with the third-party ink manufacturer.
Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to your support on this matter.
Best regards,
Persio Acevedo

If this issue is ignored and not resolved, I will escalate the matter to the relevant institutions or agencies responsible for overseeing customer rights. Additionally, I will initiate a widespread social media campaign to gather individuals facing similar issues and explore the possibility of initiating a class action lawsuit.
