If your HP Envy 7645 printer is displaying a message to "Remove and Replace Cartridge" even though the cartridge is lightly used, it suggests there might be an issue with the cartridge or the printer's ability to recognize it. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
1. Check Cartridge Installation
Turn Off the Printer:
- Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
Open the Cartridge Access Door:
- Wait until the printer is completely stopped and the cartridges have moved to the center for easy access.
Remove and Reinstall Cartridges:
- Gently remove the cartridge(s) from the printer.
- Check for any visible damage or debris on the cartridge and in the cartridge slot.
- Reinstall the cartridge(s), making sure they click into place securely.
Close the Access Door:
- Close the cartridge access door and plug the printer back in.
