Hi @Mukesh_1993,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is producing green color output instead of the expected colors, it could indicate several issues. Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshooting and resolving the problem:

1. Check Ink Levels

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges, particularly the cyan (blue) and yellow cartridges, have sufficient ink levels. Replace any cartridges that are low or empty.

2. Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page

  • Most HP printers have a built-in print quality diagnostic tool:
    • Access the printer's control panel menu and navigate to the print quality or maintenance settings.
    • Print a diagnostic page and check the color patterns for any abnormalities. Look for missing or distorted colors.

3. Clean Printheads

  • If the diagnostic page shows uneven or missing colors, clean the printheads:
    • Access the printer's maintenance menu and look for an option to clean the printheads.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the printhead cleaning process.

4. Align Printheads

  • Misaligned printheads can also cause color issues:
    • Access the printer's maintenance menu and look for an option to align the printheads.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to align the printheads.

5. Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges

  • Ensure that you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Third-party or refilled cartridges may not provide consistent color quality or could cause compatibility issues.

6. Update Printer Firmware

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer:
    • Access the printer's settings menu or the HP Smart app to check for firmware updates.
    • Follow the prompts to download and install any available updates.

7. Check Print Settings

  • Verify that the print settings are configured correctly:
    • Ensure that the correct paper type and size are selected in the printer settings.
    • Check the color settings to ensure that they match the document you are trying to print.

8. Perform a Power Cycle

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
