Hi @Ddaugherty,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Clean the cartridge contacts

Turn the printer on.

Open the door to access to the cartridges.

Wait until the carriage stops moving before you continue.

Push in on the front of the cartridge indicated in the error message, and then remove it.

Animation of replacing the cartridges

Wipe the electrical contact on the cartridge with a lint-free cloth.

Insert the cartridge into its color-coded slot until it snaps into place.

Repeat these steps for any other cartridges indicated in the error message.

Close the cartridge access door.

I spoke to HP and I tried these (4) cartridges on 3 different printers to isolate if it was the printer or the cartridge. It is the cartidge. All are new. I went to office depot to get some more cartridges and was telling the manager what had happened. He told me to go home and look to see if they were manufactured in the same plant. Sure enough the three magenta and one cyan were all manufactured in the same plant with the same same expiration date. I inserted the new cartridges, (2025 expiration date) and they worked fine. Ink is so expensive......HP did reimburse me for one of the cartridges...I just hate I lost about $100 on the other 3.
