i need an old printer cartridge for a photosmart 7520

photosmart 7520

my old photosmart 7520 needs a new black printer cartridge. the one i purchased at office depot does not fit the slot correctly. the new cartridge (a 564 xl) is too skinny for the slot in the printer. it is also too big for the photo black cartridge slot. the slot is approximately 1 inch wide. the new cartridge that is supposed to fit is roughly 5/8" wide.  the printer doesn't like it even though it does 'click' into place. there is a gap on either side of the new cartridge, ie., 5/8" vs 1" wide. are the old 1" cartridges still available?
