Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g

Yesterday I replaced my black ink cartridge on my HP Officejet Pro 8600 e Plus all in one printer with an off market brand. It was a bad decision. I have since tried replacing it with 2 different brand new HP black ink cartridges 950 XL. The printer continues to give me an error message saying that the cartridge is defective. It shows no black ink is being recognized. I have taken it out several times, restarted the computer, wiped off the copper connection, done everything I can think of. This has been a great printer and I hate to replace it. Do I have any options??
