Hi @Salvi77,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the ink cartridge in your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer is stuck and won't move, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue.

  • Turn Off and Unplug the Printer: Ensure the printer is powered off and unplugged before you attempt any fixes.
  • Open the Printer Cover: Open the printer's access door to expose the cartridge area. This is usually the door you lift to access the ink cartridges.
  • Check for Obstructions: Look inside the printer for any paper jams, foreign objects, or debris that might be blocking the cartridge from moving. Carefully remove any obstructions you find.
  • Manually Move the Cartridge: Gently try to move the cartridge to its correct position. Be careful not to force it, as this could damage the printer.
  • Check Cartridge Installation: Make sure the ink cartridges are properly seated in their slots. Sometimes, if the cartridge is not installed correctly, it can become stuck.
  • Inspect the Carriage: Look for any issues with the carriage that holds the cartridges. Ensure it's not jammed or obstructed.
  • Power On the Printer: Plug the printer back in and turn it on. The printer should perform a self-test, and the cartridges may move to their correct positions.
  • Run Printer Diagnostics: If the cartridge is still stuck, run any built-in diagnostic tools available through the printer’s software or control panel. This may help identify and resolve the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
