Hi @wayne6767,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Deskjet 4252e printer is not printing images from your documents, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue.

Check Print Settings:

  • Ensure that the print settings are correctly configured. In the print dialog, make sure that the option for printing images is selected.
  • Verify that you are printing in the correct mode (color or black and white) as required by your document.

Update Printer Drivers:

Check the Document:

  • Open the document and ensure the image is visible and correctly placed in the document application. Try printing it from a different application to ensure it's not a software-specific issue.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Check if there are adequate ink levels in the cartridges. Low ink levels might cause incomplete print jobs, especially for images.

Perform a Printer Maintenance:

  • Use the printer software to perform a maintenance task such as printhead cleaning. This can resolve issues where print quality is affected by clogged nozzles.

Try Printing a Test Page:

  • Print a test page directly from the printer’s menu to ensure that the printer itself is functioning correctly.

Disable 'Print in Grayscale':

  • Ensure that the print settings do not have 'Print in Grayscale' enabled when you want to print in color.

Check Image Format:

  • Ensure that the image format is supported by the printer. Common formats (like JPEG, PNG) should work without issues.

Reinstall the Printer:

  • Sometimes, removing the printer from the system and reinstalling it can fix any glitches in printer communication or settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
