Hi @RommelBellas ,

Thank you for your reply, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you've already tried some troubleshooting steps, but let's see if we can explore a few more options to resolve the issue with your HP OfficeJet 7610 not recognizing the cartridges:

  • Verify Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure that the cartridges you purchased are compatible with your HP OfficeJet 7610. Sometimes, using incompatible cartridges can cause errors.
  • Clean Cartridge Contacts: Remove the cartridges from the printer and gently wipe the electrical contacts on both the cartridges and inside the printer with a lint-free cloth or cotton swab lightly moistened with distilled water. Allow them to dry completely before reinserting.
  • Reset the Printer: Unplug the printer from the power source and leave it unplugged for about 1-2 minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset the printer and resolve cartridge recognition issues.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website specific to your printer model. Updating the firmware may resolve compatibility issues.
  • Inspect Cartridge Slot: Make sure there are no obstructions or debris in the cartridge slot that could prevent the cartridges from making proper contact with the printer.
  • Try a Different Cartridge: If possible, try using a different set of cartridges to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem lies with the cartridges themselves.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
