- Verify that any protective tape or plastic covering on the new cartridges has been removed.
Run Print Quality Diagnostic:
- Print a test page using the HP Smart app or the printer's control panel to check if the printer can produce any output.
Clean Printheads:
- Use the HP Smart app or the printer's control panel to run the printhead cleaning utility. Sometimes, multiple cleaning cycles are necessary.
Update Printer Drivers and Firmware:
- Ensure your printer drivers and firmware are up to date. You can download the latest drivers and firmware from the HP Support website.
Check Print Settings:
- Make sure the print settings are correct for your print job, including paper type, paper size, and quality settings.
