Try these steps:
Check Printhead and Cartridges:
- Ensure the printhead and cartridges are correctly installed.
- Verify that you are using genuine HP printheads and cartridges.
Reinstall the Printhead:
- Open the printer lid and remove the printhead.
- Carefully reinstall the printhead, ensuring it is securely seated in place.
Clean Contacts:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water to gently clean the electrical contacts on the printhead and inside the printer.
- Let the contacts dry completely, then reinstall the printhead.
Reset the Printer:
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can update it via the HP Smart app or directly from HP's support website.
