Try these steps:

Check Printhead and Cartridges:

  • Ensure the printhead and cartridges are correctly installed.
  • Verify that you are using genuine HP printheads and cartridges.

Reinstall the Printhead:

  • Open the printer lid and remove the printhead.
  • Carefully reinstall the printhead, ensuring it is securely seated in place.

Clean Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water to gently clean the electrical contacts on the printhead and inside the printer.
  • Let the contacts dry completely, then reinstall the printhead.

Reset the Printer:

  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can update it via the HP Smart app or directly from HP's support website.

I went through all of these and still get the same error code.

We have determined that the incorrect part was delivered for this machine.  New one on the way..
