Hi @TaraM5,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is not printing blue ink, here are a few troubleshooting steps to try.
- Check Ink Levels: Make sure the blue ink cartridge is not empty or low. You can check the ink levels from the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app.
- Inspect the Ink Cartridges: Remove the blue ink cartridge and check for any signs of damage or leakage. Clean the cartridge contacts gently with a lint-free cloth.
- Run a Printhead Cleaning: Sometimes, a clogged printhead can cause color issues. Access the printer's maintenance menu through the control panel or HP Smart app and run the printhead cleaning cycle.
- Align the Printheads: Go to the printer's settings and perform a printhead alignment. This can help ensure the printheads are properly aligned and printing correctly.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer. Sometimes, updates can fix printing issues.
- Perform a Hard Reset: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Check for Software Issues: Ensure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart app or printer drivers installed on your computer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
