Hi all,
when I print , front and back , on the back page I got impression in the blank area of part of the front page , it is not so evident but it's a noisy issue , it seems that the laser imaging is not cleaned up after a previous page is printed .

@paolobarna, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check for Toner Smudges or Leaks:
Remove and inspect the toner cartridges: Make sure there are no toner spills or clogs inside the printer.
Clean the toner cartridges: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the toner cartridge, making sure to remove any excess toner that might be causing the transfer.
Clean the Drum Unit:
The issue might be with the drum unit, which is responsible for transferring the toner to paper. Over time, the drum can accumulate toner residue, causing ghosting.
Clean the drum: Some printers have a drum cleaning option in their settings. If not, gently wipe the drum with a dry, lint-free cloth. Be careful not to damage it.
Printer Settings:
Print Quality Settings: Try adjusting the print quality settings. Lowering the print density or setting it to a "normal" or "draft" mode can sometimes reduce ghosting issues. You can find this option in the Print Properties window when you go to print.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows only):
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.
Check the Fuser:
Fuser Unit: The fuser helps fuse the toner onto the paper, and if it’s not functioning correctly, it can leave toner marks or fail to clean up after printing. If your printer has a replaceable fuser unit, you may need to replace it.
I hope this helps.
