HP ENVY 5030 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've cleaned the heads (2 levels), lined out the printer and tried erasing spots, but the result is the same. Some lines are badly printed / vague and some lines aren't printed at all. the software says there is enough ink in the cartridge. the virtual assistant tells me to replace the cartridge, but I don't have one.

Known solutions, presented in the order to be considered / completed:

No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues

 

If cleaning won't resolve the issue,

(then)

Yes, the cartridge might need to be changed.

 

How / Why?

Ink might be faulty, dried up, clogged, or otherwise "not usable".

What?

ONE explanation (not necessarily your issue):

IF the printer is not used (about) every week, the ink supply might dry out.

 

 

Unless the cartridges for this printer are not available in your region,

try purchasing cartridges from either the HP Store or from a local merchant.

so what are your normal opening hours?

 

I find it super complex to get a broken cartridge replaced. Shouldn't this be much easier?

I cannot explain why you cannot contact Instant Ink support in your region.

 

You should be able to find contact information in your Instant Ink Account.

 

The two links do open for me - one in Dutch, the other in English.

That does not help you, of course.  😐

Waar is mijn inkt of toner?

HP Instant Ink verstuurt inkt of toner voordat u deze nodig hebt, op basis van uw afdrukvolume en de cartridgeniveaus. U ontvangt mogelijk niet elke maand cartridges, maar als u veel pagina's afdrukt, ontvangt u mogelijk meerdere cartridges per maand.

  • Niet bekend met het programma? De meeste nieuwe printers worden met inkt- of tonercartridges geleverd die kunnen worden gebruikt als onderdeel van het Instant Ink-programma. Als u zich tijdens de eerste installatie hebt aangemeld voor Instant Ink, kunt u meteen beginnen met het afdrukken van pagina's in het programma. Daarnaast wordt er een nieuwe set cartridges naar u verzonden en deze moet binnen 10 dagen na aanmelding binnenkomen.

  • Een levering ontbreekt?

    1. Meld u aan bij HP Instant Ink-account.

    2. Als het

       

      HP Instant Ink als optie in het linkermenu verschijnt, klik er dan op.

    3. Klik op Verzendingstracking. U kunt eerdere leveringen bijhouden en een schatting van uw volgende verzenddatum bekijken (op basis van uw huidige gebruik). U hebt mogelijk uw laatste levering al enige tijd geleden ontvangen. Als u hebt gezocht naar verkeerd bezorgde leveringen en nog steeds uw zending niet kunt vinden, gaat u naar HP Instant Ink-ondersteuning voor hulp.
