Hi @771992,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy Pro 6455 is printing blank pages despite having good ink levels and running cleaning tools, here are some additional troubleshooting steps to consider:

1. Check Print Settings

  • Print Preview: Before printing, check the print preview to ensure that the correct document or image is being sent to the printer.
  • Paper Type: Ensure that the printer settings match the type of paper you’re using.

2. Check Ink Cartridge Installation

  • Reinstall Cartridges: Remove the ink cartridges and reinstall them. Make sure they are securely seated in their slots.
  • Check for Protective Tape: If you recently installed new cartridges, make sure that any protective tape or plastic has been removed from the cartridges.

3. Inspect Ink Cartridges

  • Examine Cartridges: Check the ink cartridges for any visible issues, such as leakage or dry ink. Sometimes the nozzles can get clogged despite cleaning tools being run.
  • Try New Cartridges: If you have spare cartridges, try installing them to see if the problem persists.

4. Perform a Print Head Cleaning

  • Manual Cleaning: Sometimes, automated cleaning isn't enough. Turn off the printer and unplug it. Remove the cartridges and use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water or isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the print head area.
  • Print Head Alignment: Run a print head alignment process from your printer’s settings or control panel.

5. Check Printer Drivers

  • Update Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit HP's support website to download and install the latest drivers for your model.
  • Reinstall Drivers: Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers can resolve printing issues.

6. Check for Firmware Updates

  • Update Firmware: Firmware updates can sometimes fix printing issues. Check HP’s support website for any available firmware updates for your printer model.

7. Inspect Paper Path

  • Paper Type: Use standard printer paper to ensure that the issue isn’t related to the type of paper you’re using.
  • Paper Path: Check the paper path for any obstructions or issues. Sometimes small pieces of paper or debris can affect printing.

8. Check for Software Conflicts

  • Printer Software: Make sure that any printer software or utilities provided by HP are up to date.
  • Other Applications: Ensure that no other applications or drivers are conflicting with your printer’s functionality.

9. Reset Printer

  • Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, consider performing a factory reset on your printer. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues. Refer to your printer’s manual or HP’s support site for instructions on how to perform a reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
