@DRMABONC, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Performing an OOBE Reset on HP ENVY Inspire 7220e All-in-One Printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
An Out-Of-Box Experience (OOBE) reset effectively restores your printer to its initial setup state. Please follow these steps to perform an OOBE reset on your HP ENVY Inspire 7220e All-in-One Printer:
Power Off the Printer:
- Ensure the printer is turned off. If it is already on, press the power button to switch it off.
Unplug the Power Cord:
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the power source.
Wait for 1 Minute:
- Allow the printer to sit without power for at least one minute. This helps to clear any residual memory.
Reconnect the Power Cord:
- Plug the power cord back into the printer and then into the power source.
Power On the Printer:
- Turn on the printer by pressing the power button.
Perform the OOBE Reset:
- On the printer control panel, tap the Home button.
- Navigate to the Settings menu.
- Tap Printer maintenance.
- Select Restore or Restore Settings.
- Choose OOBE Reset.
Confirm Reset:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the reset process.
Initial Setup:
- After the reset, the printer will start the initial setup process.
- Follow the prompts on the control panel to set the language, country/region, date, and time.
Install Cartridges:
- When instructed, install any new or existing cartridges you have. The printer should accept these cartridges now.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
