printer cartridge

I received a response from Fossett.  After installing a new cartridge, and cleaning the head it printed like the old cartridge - only blue, yellow and green.  When I went to HP Solutions it only brought up a white box with an f and another letter.  I didn't get the screen I used to get that allowed me to check the ink levels and do other things.  How do I access the ink levels?  If the new cartridge prints as the old, does that mean that something is wrong with the printer an it has to be replaced?

Are you using HP genuine cartridges? 

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you contact support to further diagnose the issue.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
