printer error

I've had nothing but problems since day one with this printer.  Then I canceled the instant ink service and it won't let you use those cartridges anymore so bought my own cartridges. Now it won't let me print still, saying I have to sign up for the service to use the new cartridges. I tried finding help on HP help websites for about an hour. Then I called their help number and went through phone prompt marathon only to be told I need a service number online first. I'm not surprised as everytime I've used this printer in 3 years ,I've had to do alot of this to print or scan anything. I get it working, shut it off next time I need it I turn it on  and it won't work.

@HjunkP, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Once you cancel the Instant Ink service, you cannot use Instant Ink cartridges in the printer. You will have to use the regular HP ink cartridges.

Make sure the Instant Ink account is disabled and the printer is deleted from the account.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink' Message

If the issue persists, disable web services on the printer and try printing.

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
