@Jocabiness63, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It's frustrating when a printer stops working, especially after you've already tried troubleshooting. Since your HP DeskJet 2852e All-in-One Printer isn't printing, and you've already attempted some fixes, let's go through some additional steps to try and resolve the issue.
Restart Everything:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from power.
- Restart your computer and Wi-Fi router.
- After 1–2 minutes, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- On the printer, press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons until the power light blinks.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app.
- Ensure the printer shows a strong signal and has an IP address.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download from HP official site.
- This tool can automatically detect and fix many printing issues.
Check Ink and Paper:
- Make sure ink cartridges are not empty or clogged.
- Remove and reinsert cartridges.
- Check for paper jams or misfeeds.
Clear Print Queue:
- On your computer, go to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer → See what’s printing → Cancel all documents.
Set as Default Printer:
- In Devices and Printers, right-click your printer → Set as default printer.
Update or Reinstall Drivers:
- Go to HP’s driver download page and install the latest software for your model.
Factory Reset the Printer (if nothing else works):
- Press and hold the Cancel and Wireless buttons for 5 seconds until the power light blinks.
- Reconnect using the HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
