Hi @KATSOLY,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To address alignment issues with your HP OfficeJet 4655 All-In-One Printer, you can perform a hard reset and alignment through the following steps.

Hard Reset

  1. Turn Off the Printer:
    • Make sure the printer is powered on.
    • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
    • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
    • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
    • Reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer.
    • Turn the printer back on.

Perform Alignment

Access Printer Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, tap the Home button if it's not already on the main screen.
  • Navigate to Setup (gear icon).

Initiate Alignment:

  • From the Setup menu, select Printer Maintenance or Tools.
  • Select Align Printer or Align Printhead.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process. The printer will print an alignment page.

Scan Alignment Page:

  • Place the alignment page face down on the scanner glass.
  • Close the scanner lid.
  • Press OK to scan the alignment page. This process will calibrate the printer for optimal print quality.

Additional Steps

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date by visiting the HP support website and downloading the latest firmware for your printer model.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels.
  • Clean the ink cartridges using the printer's maintenance tools.

Print Diagnostic Page:

  • Print a diagnostic page to check for any other issues with the print quality.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
