Hi @vasanth299,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your printer is printing incomplete pages and carrying over lines to the next page, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Check Print Settings:
- Ensure that the document is set to print correctly. Check the page layout settings in your print dialog (like "Fit to Page" or "Actual Size") to ensure it’s configured properly.
2. Inspect Document Formatting:
- Open the document in your editor (e.g., Word, PDF viewer) and check for any hidden formatting or page breaks that might be causing the issue.
3. Update Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Visit the printer manufacturer’s website to download the latest drivers for your model.
4. Check for Software Updates:
- Make sure your operating system and any software you’re using to print from are fully updated.
5. Use a Different Application:
- Try printing the document from a different application to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, the problem could be with the software itself.
6. Change Print Quality Settings:
- In the print dialog, try changing the print quality settings (from "High" to "Draft," for example) to see if it affects the output.
7. Reset Printer Settings:
- Reset the printer to factory settings if possible. This can sometimes resolve unexpected printing issues.
8. Check Printer Queue:
- Make sure there are no stuck jobs in the print queue. Clear any pending print jobs and try printing again.
9. Test with a Different Document:
- Create a simple test document with just a few lines of text and see if it prints correctly. This can help isolate whether the problem is with the specific document or the printer itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
