New printer.  print quality was great out of box.  Now, when printing 2-sided, first side print quality is good, but 2nd side shows a partially printed picture for about first 2 inches at start of the page for first 3 inches from the bottom of the page.  Ghost images frequently appear in the same region of the page as it prints.  The last 2 inches of the page have black ink smudges for last 2 inches at the end of the page in the same bottom 3 inch region.  Now the front page also has a black ink smudge line from the top to the bottom of the page.  I've tried cleaning the cartridge drum with a cotton ball and running the cleaning program until I get a clean sheet of paper and the problem is still there on the first page I print.  I've tried replacing the color cartridges and still get the same problem with the first page I print.  Any thoughts on what's going on or how I can eliminate the problem?

The printer is still under warranty and has a hardware issue and the printer needs to be serviced. Please contact HP support team in your region for help.

Thanks for understanding!
