Hi @asianstroke64

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand your concern about the reddish tone dominating your printouts. It’s good to know you’ve already tried the cleaning maintenance steps, as that rules out some common causes.

To narrow this down further, could you share the following details:

  • The exact HP printer model you’re using
  • Whether the issue appears across all types of documents (text, images, color prints) or only in specific cases
  • If you’re using original HP cartridges or refills, and whether all colors are affected or mainly one

This will help in identifying whether the issue is related to hardware, supplies, or settings.

While we wait for the specific printer model and cartridge information, here are some general print quality checks you can consider:

  • Check cartridge levels and seating: Ensure all cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink. A low or misaligned color cartridge can cause color imbalance.
  • Run alignment: Use the printer’s alignment tool to make sure the cartridges are calibrated correctly.
  • Paper type settings: Confirm that the paper type selected in the print driver matches the paper you’re using. Incorrect settings can affect color output.
  • Update firmware and drivers: Make sure the printer firmware and HP app/driver are up to date, as updates often improve color management.
  • Test with different applications: Try printing from another program or device to see if the issue is consistent, which helps isolate whether it’s printer-related or software-related.

Once you share the printer model and cartridge details, I can provide steps tailored specifically to your product. Would you like to confirm those now so we can narrow this down further?

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,
