Hallo,

I recently moved from Germany to India and need regional reset on the HP ENVY 4525 All-in-One Printer for India. 

I was using the cartridges  65/304, in Germany.

In India, I was mentioned as HP 803 cartridges  compatible however, shows as not compatible. Was told as need regional reset. 

 

can you please help.

You will need to Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work.  HP's web page on the subject is here.

Unfortunately hp support team didn't help.

When I contacted HP support team, they suggested to visit the local HP service center. but, when I visited local service center, they mentioned they are for only HW service and I need to call and take support from HP support team.  this is going in circles and not getting proper support from HP.  very bad service.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you moved and the printer is not is accepting the new region cartridges.

  

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

unfortunately the issue is still not resolved...very bad service from HP..
