Hello,
I bought my HP printer Deskjet 2722 from Switzerland where I used to live. I used the instant ink service with a 10 page monthly service delivered to my home in Switzerland. I recently relocated to Singapore, and I couldn’t figure out how to change the billing and delivery address of the instant ink delivery service, therefore I decided to cancel it and my plan was to replace this service with buying the HP cartridge and install them. So, I bought some HP 67 ink cartridges for my printer (supposedly compatible) but my printer doesn’t recognise them. How do I fix this? Do I need to register my printer to the new region (Singapore)? How can I do that? Can someone assist?
Thanks

Hi @Loubag,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you move to a different country we need to perform a regional reset in order to make the printer work in the new region. I will surely help you with the Regional reset.
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.
4. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Loubag,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you are looking for help with moving your instant ink account to another country.
Instant Ink accounts are linked to the country/region of your HP account.
- To change the country/region for a printer in Instant Ink, add the printer to a different HP account that is in the desired country/region.
- Cancel the original Instant Ink account to prevent continued billing. Enrolling the printer in a new account does not automatically delete the old account.
- HP Instant Ink Platinum: The service is only available within the continental United States. If you move out of the service area, your subscription is cancelled and you may be charged an early cancellation fee.
Refer to this video link to Cancel the Instant ink subscription.
Refer to this link to re-enroll in instant ink for the new country once again using a new email ID.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!

Hello @Irwin6,
thanks for your reply. However, it doesn’t not entirely help me with my query.
I already cancelled my Instant ink account.
Then, I bought new cartridges (67) supposedly compatible with my printer HP deskjet 2722. I bought them in Singapore to use them with my printer bought in Switzerland. The printer says they are incompatible and I assume this is because I need to register my printer in the new region. Am I correct ? And how do I do this? Thank you in advance

@Irwin6, I have been reading a few posts from people who had same issues as I and it seems that the pronter needs to be reset. The reset instructions are specific for my printer. Will you send me a private message with reset instructions as advised in other posts related to same topic (region move)?
tks
