@LBB17,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're thrilled to have you on board!

Meanwhile you can try these steps:

Verify Cartridge Installation: Ensure the new cartridges are properly installed by opening the printer cover and checking if they are securely seated. If unsure, remove and firmly reinsert the cartridge.

Clean Cartridge Contacts: Over time, ink cartridges can collect dirt or dried ink on their metal contacts. Power off the printer, remove the cartridge carefully, and clean both the cartridge contacts and the printer's corresponding contacts using a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water. Allow them to dry completely before reinserting the cartridge.

Restart the Printer: A simple restart can often fix temporary issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and power it on. Check if the issue persists.

Check Cartridge Compatibility: Make sure the cartridge is compatible with your printer model. Using an incorrect cartridge can cause errors. Double-check the cartridge model number against your printer’s specifications.

Reset the Printer: Perform a reset to clear any internal errors. Turn off the printer, unplug it, then press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds. Reconnect the power source and turn the printer back on.

Inspect the Cartridge: Check the cartridge for any visible damage, leaks, or defects. If you suspect a faulty cartridge, contact customer service for a replacement.

We're all ears!
