Hi @Rob2770,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check Ink Cartridge Compatibility:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridge you installed is compatible with your printer model. Check the cartridge part number to ensure it matches the specifications for the HP OfficeJet 9015e.

Reinsert the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the printer cover and remove the ink cartridges.
  • Carefully reinsert the ink cartridges, making sure they are seated properly in their respective slots.

Clean the Ink Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the printer cover and gently remove the ink cartridges.
  • Using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water, gently clean the electrical contacts on the ink cartridges and the corresponding contacts inside the printer.
  • Allow the contacts to dry completely before reinserting the ink cartridges.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Update Printer Firmware:

Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Open the printer cover and check for any obstructions or packing materials that may still be inside the printer.

I hope this helps.
