Hi @vscr99,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you’re still seeing the "Supply System Problem" error message after changing the cartridge and troubleshooting steps haven't worked, here are a few additional things you can try.
- Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the new cartridge is properly installed and seated correctly. Remove and reinstall it, making sure it clicks into place.
- Inspect Cartridges and Printheads: Examine the cartridges and printheads for any visible damage or obstructions. Sometimes, residue or debris can cause issues.
- Clean Contacts: Clean the copper contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth or cotton swab lightly moistened with water or isopropyl alcohol. Be gentle to avoid damaging the components.
- Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset the printer's internal systems.
- Reset Printer Settings: Some printers have a reset option that can be found in the printer's menu. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
- Firmware Update: Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer model. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve supply system errors.
- Try Another Cartridge: If possible, try installing a different cartridge (preferably a known good one) to rule out the possibility of a faulty cartridge.
- Check for Obstructions: Look inside the printer for any paper jams, foreign objects, or other obstructions that could be interfering with the cartridge system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
