Recommended Action:

  1. Replace the Cartridge: You must replace the protected cartridge with a new one if trying to use it in a different printer.

  2. Check Printer Settings: If you want to avoid this issue in the future, you can disable the Cartridge Protection feature in the printer’s settings if allowed.

  3. Visit HP Anticounterfeit Page: If you believe you have purchased a genuine HP cartridge but are experiencing issues, you can visit HP's anticounterfeit platform for more assistance.

  4. Contact Support: For persistent issues, contacting HP Customer Support for further guidance is recommended.
