HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer

Help! I am getting this message “There is a problem with the printer or print system. Turn the printer off, then on. If you continue to get this message, contact HP. 0x6100004a.”

The printer will not turn off. I need to unplug it. Then it says it was not shut down correctly. It says to clear paper jam. There is no paper jam. 
is there anyway to fix this problem?

I understand that you are getting a 0x6100004a error on the printer. I am glad to assist you.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
