6 year old HP Envy 7640 paper jam message

Getting paper jam message but there is no jam. It's 6 years old--I think I might as well just replace the printer. Agree? Tried the troubleshooting and nothing helps.

I understand you are not able to print due to this false error message. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Paper Jam Error

Now, try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
