7255e envelopes

Does anyone know if I can safely use the photo paper tray for envelopes?  I work in accounts payable and it would be extremely helpful if I could just load the envelopes into that tray instead of pulling out the paper all the time when I need to print envelopes.

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you want to use photo paper tray for envelopes with the HP ENVY Inspire 7255e All-In-One Printer. 

To use envelopes remove any paper from the paper tray. Load one or more envelopes into the middle of the paper tray, print side down, and with the flaps on the left and facing up. Slide in the paper width guides in until they rest against the edges of the envelope. Push the paper tray forward until it clicks into place.

Thanks for your answer, however, I want to use the photo tray not the main tray because the photo tray is above the main tray and doesn't have paper in it until that tray is being used.  I want to avoid the hassle of removing the paper and resetting the program to know that I've loaded envelopes all the time.  Since posting my question, I have done some research into the matter and it seems the program for the printer will not allow me to set the photo tray to accept envelopes, so I will have to continue to use the main tray and put up with the hassle of removing the paper all the time and resetting the  program.
