Hi @AnnaFurman,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're dealing with a couple of issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e. Here's a step-by-step guide to help troubleshoot.
Paper Jam Issue:
Turn Off the Printer:
- Unplug the printer from the power source to ensure safety.
Check the Paper Path:
- Open the printer’s paper tray and look for any visible paper or debris.
- Open the rear access door (if applicable) and look inside the printer for any jammed paper or obstructions.
Remove Paper Jam:
- If you find any jammed paper, gently pull it out. Avoid tearing the paper, as small pieces can be tricky to remove.
Check Rollers:
- Inspect the rollers for any paper residue or obstructions. Clean the rollers with a lint-free cloth if needed.
Reassemble:
- Close all doors and trays, plug the printer back in, and turn it on.
Cartridge Movement Issue:
Check for Obstructions:
- Open the printer’s front door to access the cartridge area. Look for any obstructions that might be preventing the cartridges from moving.
Manually Move the Cartridges:
- With the printer turned off and unplugged, gently try to move the cartridges to the left and right to see if they are stuck or misaligned.
Inspect Cartridge Area:
- Check if the cartridges are correctly seated. Remove and reseat them if necessary.
Reset the Printer:
- Plug the printer back in, turn it on, and wait for the cartridges to move to their designated position.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
