LaserJet 1215
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP 1215 color laser printer. I heard a noise like a paper jam and got an error message. I cleared the jam, but it was not the paper i had loaded. It was a stiff, thin black film that came out in pieces. Once I had removed it, the error cleared. When I went to print, it seemed to operate normally, but the sheet it produced was blank. I tried again with printing a test page, same result. What is going on here?

The film will either be the fuser hot roller cover or the transfer belt. Open the cartridge door and examine the mylar belt under the cartridges to see if it is damaged. Fuser can be a little more difficult to examine. Can you post a picture of the material that came out?
