I am a teacher and would like to print off my workbooks, but I have blank pages for students to use within the booklet.  I do not want to have to count the pages.  Will those blank pages count towards my printed number?  Even if they don't use any ink?

Thanks!

Welcome to the HP English Community --

That's a good question.

The way I read the TOS, if there is even so much as a period or dot printed on the paper, it counts as a Printed Page.

Certainly if your booklet includes page numbers printed on each page, that would mean the "blank pages" would be counted - a single letter or number counts as a printed page.

Open document - search for "Printed Page"

Instant Ink - Terms of Service - USA

The plan's Page Count each side as a Printed Page

The Paper Page Count is different - One sheet of paper can be one or both sides.

NOTE If you don't have the Paper service added to your Instant Ink service, Paper Page Count does not apply.

Most apps and software support the concept of Printing a Page Range --

Using the Page Range option in your print job configuration does mean you have to insert the prerequisite number of blank pages into the printed booklet before it is stapled or bound and distributed to your students.

Should Page Range not be practical, then - yes, you'd have to print the document as a whole.

The question of "do the blank pages count" is best answered by Instant Ink Support.
