HP Color Laserjet M653
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

We bought 3 new M653 color laserjets amnd they all have the same problem.  They print slanted on the page.  We print software manuals that have a line in the header and footer right across the page so it's really obvious that it slants down from left to right.

We've tried all the internal stuff you can do, re-aligning, calibrating, ran all the reports and cleaning etc.  We know you can change the alignment slightly but that is the left and right alignment on the page - it doens't correct skew printing.

We've been in business 30yrs and have always had HP printers.  We can usually solve any issues ourselves by replacing the paper tray rollers etc.  But these are new out the box and from day 1 they had this issue.  When we compare the paper tray guides in our old CP4025 color laserjets the new tray deisgn seemed flawed.  There is less solid surface in contact with the paper stack in the tray to hold it in place.  Every time we print we double/triple check that the paper is aligned correctly and held in place before printing and it makes no difference.  If we don't do these extra checks the slant is even worse which is why we think the design of the paper tray guides is the issue.

Currenlty got HP on the case but it takes so long to get through and keep getting back to them I though I'd throw it out here.

Anyone else got the same issue?

Thanks for any suggestions.
