CP1525nw

Whenever my CP1525nw runs out of paper and I refill the tray, the printer will show "Paper Jam in Tray 2" error, even though there is no paper jam.

I have replaced the pickup and separation rollers at least 3 times over the past few months. The first time after they're replaced, the problem goes away. After that when the tray is empty the problem starts all over again. The only way I can fix it is to replace the rollers with new ones, or remove the rollers, and manually rotate the rubber belts around so that there's a different part of the belt engaging the paper.

Is there a way to fix this so that the rollers continue to work for more than one tray of paper? Thanks!

Hi @Tom_NC,

If you have already performed the steps from the document  'Paper Jam'  and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
