HP Laserjet CP2025

Paper jams occur intermittently, but frequent. The paper always jams at registration, just below the ITB. Obviously a timing issue & because it jams at exactly the same place every time, I'm suspecting a faulty or sticking sensor. It's a bit of a strip down, so before I attempt it, any advise or known fix's pls?

Thank you Sandytechy20 for your suggestions, however all these basic symptoms, have all been checked out & been ruled out. As previously stated, I suspect a faulty component. The registration switch/sensor appears to be ok & I suspect its more likely to be a sticky solenoid SL2 (as indicated in the SM), but is virtually impossible to get at. I've since seen information on the web that does suggest a sticky solenoid, but points you in the direction SL5, which doesn't add up, as that's the Duplex Reverse Solenoid. Also in the SM, the paper pick up assembly doesn't provide a part number for the unit, so also suspecting this isn't a replaceable item, unless there's further information on a service bulletin that someone may be aware of? TIA
