I just finished repairing the solenoid goo on a cp4025 and have put everything back together and all works great except the tray 2 lifter motor.  Tray 3 works fine so I think I may have missed plugging in a cable or something simple like that.  Both tray 2 and tray 3 lifter motors worked fine before disassembly.  Thanks for any help.  Don't feel like taking it apart again....

If it worked before then it is most likely you did miss a connector. If you go into diagnostics mode you should be able to test the motor. If you hear no sound then you likely have no choice but to go back and check all your connections. This is the reason I have started taking a picture of a board before I remove anything because these days there are unused connectors and it is easy to accidentally bury a connector behind a board when installing the board. Knowing which connectors were empty beforehand makes it easy to confirm that every thing is connected before you close up the device.
