Can't close paper tray extender, a swing-out plastic piece to catch paper after printing

My printer is hp ENVY 6055 All-in-one Printer. I can't close the white swing-out plastic piece which help catching paper after printing. It is just above the paper tray. The function of paper tray is not a problem.

I have the same problem ,, swing out arm on my 6055e is stuck in the open position.
