HP ENVY 6234

Hi, I have a HP ENVY PHOTO  6234 printer which I've been mostly happy with until it had a paper jam last night. Some of the paper is probably still inside it but I cannot see it so it's probably somewhere inaccessible.  I tried printing off a couple of sheets but now get Carriage Error,  it looks like the ink cartridges are not going as far left as they should. Printer is out of warranty and on cheapest instant ink option. Anything more I can do, I suspect I'll have to buy a new one as I've followed troubleshooting and rebooted, to no avail. Thanks

@PaulEx2, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to use the printer due to this error. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Carriage jam or E3 error

To remove any jammed paper, refer to the steps from - A 'Paper Jam' Error Displays

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
