I've been going in circles with this stupid machine for weeks. I got "damaged cartridge" error, but trying three cartridges didn't fix it.

I ordered a new carriage to see if that would fix it.

When I turned it on to try to install the new carriage, I get the same "damaged cartridge" error message as before, but...

...but now the carriage is fixed all the way to the right.

When I open the front, I get a message saying the door needs to be shut to print.

There is only the "?" menu item. No others on the touch screen.

Touching the "?" takes me to a list of ink cartridge replacement troubleshooting.

There are no other menu items. Touching the screen does nothing. Next time I'll touch it with a sledge hammer as part of a slow-motion video that I'll put online. Unless someone can actually tell me how to fix this stupid thing?

Don't tell me to turn it off and on again. I've done that ten times. I've tried updating the drivers, but the operation would never finish. Now it can't even connect.
Seriously, no robot answers. I waiting forever for the tech support line, only to finally give up. I need an actual answer. FFS.
