Product: HP Color LaserJet Enterprise flow MFP M880z

Hi guys. Hoping you can help me out with this one. I have this HP MFP M880z where the feeder on the top suddenly stopped grabbing the paper while there is an ugly sound coming from under the top cover. Sounds like cogwheel that is trying to grasp something. Seems like something is stopping the roller from turning. Any tips? P. S. I found this small clip inside the background selector (see picture). Lift the ADF paper tray upwards, and use 2 green tabs to remove the lower assembly, and the small clip should go to a red circle.

 

When the lower assembly is removed try to see if will it pick paper from ADF
