E3 with no paper jam Help! HP Envy 6455e

I have no paper jam and no ink and I can  not get this error to clear. We have power reset and nothing works. HELP!!!!

I understand you are facing an issuer E3 with no paper jam! HP Envy 6455e. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

If you're encountering an E3 error on your HP Envy 6455e printer and you've confirmed that there's no paper jam and you have sufficient ink, there are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check for Obstructions: Even if there's no paper jam, there might be small pieces of paper or debris stuck in the printer. Carefully inspect the printer's paper path, including the input and output trays, and remove any obstructions you find.

Reset the Printer:Let's perform a power drain: 

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website. Updating the firmware can often resolve various errors and issues.

Check for Software Errors: Sometimes, errors can be caused by issues with the printer driver or software. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver on your computer. Make sure you download the driver from the official HP website

to ensure compatibility.
