Hi @Nosoupforu113,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Seeing a blue screen with specific characters and flashing lights on your HP Envy Inspire 7900e series indicates a hardware or firmware issue. Here are steps you can take to resolve this issue.

  • Restart Your Computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Turn off your computer completely, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check for Loose Connections: Ensure all cables, including power cables and peripherals, are securely connected to your computer. Sometimes loose connections can cause hardware issues.
  • Check for BIOS/UEFI Updates: Visit the HP support website and check if there are any BIOS or UEFI updates available for your computer model. If there are updates, follow the instructions provided to update your system firmware.
  • Perform a Hard Reset: A hard reset can help resolve hardware conflicts. To perform a hard reset, disconnect all external devices, including the power cable and battery (if removable), then press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds. Reconnect the power cable and battery (if applicable), then turn on your computer.
  • Check for Memory Issues: Faulty RAM can cause blue screen errors. If your computer has multiple RAM modules, try removing one at a time and see if the issue persists. If you have only one RAM module, consider testing it in another computer or replacing it.
  • Check for Disk Errors: Boot your computer into Safe Mode (if possible) and run a disk check utility like CHKDSK (for Windows) or Disk Utility (for macOS) to check for disk errors and repair them.

Remember to back up your important data regularly to prevent data loss in case of hardware failures.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
