Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My Envy6000e  had a paper jam and I took apart the insides some and NOW cannot put it back together again. I cannot find any photos of the right way to reassemble it online either and the package comes with literally NO information! I am so frustrated! I put back this spool thingy but I'm not sure it's inserted right and now the black thing that you pinch in the middle with the holes to cover it, isn't going back in. Can ANYONE please direct me to something helpful????

@Christine7212,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I undertsand you were facing apaper jam issue and you tried tp clear the jam but removing the tab of the clean out area.

Try the below suggestions -

Automatically clear the jam

Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jam.

On the printer control panel, press the Cancel button  to automatically clear the paper jam.

Clear jammed paper from the printer

Paper jams can occur in multiple areas of the printer. If you cannot find the paper jam in one area, continue to the next area until the jam is located.

  2. Wait until the carriage stops moving before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord.

    WARNING:

    To avoid risk of injuries or electric shock, you must disconnect the power cord before reaching inside the printer.

  4. Move the carriage to the far left and far right, and then use both hands to remove any jammed paper or debris.

  5. Behind the ink cartridge access area, remove the paper path cover by pinching the tabs together and lifting it out of the printer.
